“When the Village of Granville became a Power a Clean Future Ohio community in 2024, we pledged to reduce our carbon emissions by 50% by 2030,” said Laura Mickelson, a member of the Granville Village Council and the Granville Village Environmental Sustainability Committee. “This is a meaningful and public-facing project as part of that pledge, and emphasizes a vital partnership between all of the involved entities.”

The new 14-kilowatt solar array on the Bryn Du maintenance building will help save an estimated $2,600 in annual electricity costs and will help eliminate 12 metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year.
