The Cardington Community Food Pantry is always the first four Wednesdays of the month from 9-12. A free produce market is held the second Tuesday of every month from 2-4. You may attend one Wednesday pantry a month plus the produce market. Always at their Flint St location. You may send a proxy to pick up for you if you cannot make it in person. We are just blown away by the response to our last post! After over four years, we should know never to be surprised by the generosity and loving spirit of our Morrow County communities. If you haven’t before, we’d encourage you to consider donating nonperishable foods or personal products in one of our Blessing Boxes. Give only what you can. Take only what you need. Please, no “box raiding.” Thank you to everyone who gives! It is making a difference!

Blessing Boxes can be found at the following locations. If you’d like to sponsor or host a box, please let us know. These are all monitored by volunteers as best as we are able so please take care of our boxes and leave them as clean and organized as you can. Thank you!

This is Karen. She is with our local Cardington Dollar General. For years now, without fanfare, she has faithfully dropped off donations to our Cardington Blessing Box. Some are from extra DG stock, some are from her own pocket. They are also wonderful partners with the Cardington Community Food Pantry! She is very selfless and never wants the spotlight, but we wanted to share this picture we captured from this morning. The Cardington Community Food Pantry just had another record day. 155 families! There is such a high need in our community right now. We are still doing our best to keep our Cardington blessing box full for those folks who need a few items to put a meal on the table. Please leave only what you can, and take only what you need. If you have some time this week, spread some love! Located at 102 East Main Street right on the village square.
