Harrison West Arts Harrison West Arts is a volunteer run non-profit aimed at celebrating and promoting all forms of art in the neighborhood of Harrison West in Columbus Ohio.

An extension of the Harrison West Society, Harrison West Arts partners with the Harrison West Society on popular arts events like the annual Harrison West Jazz Stage, as well as art installation projects. While new (founded in fall of 2020), we are already working on an ambitious mural project on the Olentangy Trail. In addition to creating new works of art, we also wish to provide support for loc

al artists, and to celebrate works of art that already exist within the neighborhood! Keep an eye out here, and on our website, for info about already existing pieces, as well as a Harrison West Art walk!

A tremendous, heartfelt thank you to our friends at local environmental non-profit Friends of the Lower Olentangy Watershed (FLOW)! Thanks to their dedication, and the generosity of their sponsors, our new Harrison West pollinator space has now been professionally treated with its first non-toxic herbicide application. This application will kill all the non-natives in the space, allowing our soon to be planted natives to thrive! Now that another season has passed, we want to say one last HUGE thank you to everyone who was involved!! Each and every one of you played an invaluable role in making this year's Jazz Stage so special. So cheers to you Thrive Companies, Lacquer Gallery, Zeno's Bar, neighborhood relator Ken Wightman, Harrison's On Third, Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, CityPets Daycare, and Integrated Building Systems for your very generous sponsorship, and for your support of our community in general; Colin Lazarski's NOLA Quintet, James Gaiters Soul Revival, Tony Monaco Trio, and Urban Jazz Coalition "On Tour" for fantastic music this year; Ajumama, Ninja bowl, Fork in Nigeria, FoxFire Tacos, and J-Pops for out of this world good food and popsicles; our longtime partner in sound Eric Van Wagner for transforming our inconspicuous park into a concert venue; volunteer Ken Wightman again for designing, purchasing and placing our new snazzy signage; and long time volunteer Robert Mangia for assistance day of! Fingers crossed for good weather tomorrow because we have a very special Food Truck visiting for the Harrison West Jazz Stage. Fork in Nigeria will be serving their famous Fufu from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Harrison Park!!! Even if you don't stay for the music, this is a great opportunity to try this insanely popular food truck, without the big festival lines. 😁
