OKLAHOMA CITY — Among the many bills for the Oklahoma Legislature to consider this session is one that would bring attention to the problem of veteran su***des in the state.

About 11 to 20 out of every 100 veterans (or between 11 and 20%) who served in operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom have PTSD in a given year.
About 12 out of every 100 Gulf War Veterans (or 12%) have PTSD in a given year.
About 15 out of every 100 Vietnam veterans (15%) were currently diagnosed with PTSD when the most recent study of them (the National Vietnam Veteran Readjustment Study) was conducted in the late 1980s. It’s believed that 30% of Vietnam veterans have had PTSD in their lifetime.
These statistics are based on studies conducted in clinical settings. If you or a loved one is suffering from PTSD, reach out to us and we can help guide them in the right direction. Always remember- YOU ARE NOT ALONE! 🇺🇸😊
Although it’s a widespread problem for service members, PTSD is treatable.

Hello, we are Mike and Sarah Robinson, founders and CEOs of Operation Homefront- First Civ Div. Mike is a United States Marine Corps Veteran, and has been out of the service for going on 10 years. It has taken 6 of those 10 years for Mike to navigate the system of the VA and utilize all of the benefits that he and other service members earned by serving our country, and fighting for our freedom. One afternoon while sitting with some Marine Corps and Army buddies, we had this brilliant idea to use the education we have developed and our experiences to help other veterans and their family members along the way. With our team of caring individuals and professionals, we strive to make a difference in each veteran that we serve’s life. We want every veteran to be successful following the service and ensure that our due diligence will be done while serving them day in and day out.
Our goal is to provide support to veterans and their families as long as necessary. We provide workshops, insight, emergency services, housing support, and education to veterans to ensure that they are receiving all of their earned benefits and maintaining healthy, productive lives.
We do the following for veterans and their families, whether or not in a time of crisis:
Educate- we educate veterans and their families on services provided by the VA and other local community resources. We provide workshops geared around resume building, career search, VA home loans and the home buying process, and how to maintain the VA support after being a civilian for so long.
Support- we assign each family with designated support individuals who have gone through the process and will stay with the family through each step of the way.
Provide Essential Life Resources- through Operation Homefront- First Civ Div, we ensure that each veteran and their family member does not go without. Whether it is through resources directly from our company or other institutions around the area to provide the family with their needs and ability to maintain success after receiving our support.
Most importantly, we provide FRIENDSHIP for veterans and family members in need or transition, to feel confident to lead successful, happy lives.
This cause is something that our family and friends feels strongly about- we want every family to feel supported and appreciated for their service to the United States and the sacrifices made day in and day out.
