Building a career in fashion is one thing. Building one that reflects who you are, where you come from and what you value is another.
That was at the heart of IN THE MAKING: The Next Generation of Fashion.
At Checked in., Kimani Washington of VIVID ave., Fatmata Feika of Jentri House and Hyde Ebright of DARA joined moderator Jo Miller to talk candidly about building their brands, finding opportunities and learning as they go.
Culture ran through it all, shaping their creativity, their connection to community and how each of them defines success.
That spirit is part of where we’re headed with The Next Destination: more shared knowledge, more real connections and fewer creatives having to figure it all out alone.
The work continues. We’re all still in the making.
