As many of you know The Walker Phillip Foundation hosted a birthday parade for Ms Mae.

It is with deep sadness we share the passing of sweet Mae.

Mae was so brave, strong, and beautiful. Her light will shine for years to come.

Our hearts are with the Ward’s and their family as they navigate this difficult time.

We are so excited to officially launch our Walker Phillip Foundation fundraiser shirt!
This shirt represents so much more than our foundation. It represents our mission to make sure no child is forgotten and every child has a reason to feel celebrated.

The Walker Phillip Foundation supports children and families in Bartholomew County who are experiencing financial hardship. Through programs like No Bunny Left Behind, birthday celebrations, Halloween support, Valentine’s Day activities, and other seasonal programs, we work to bring a little extra joy to families who may be going through a difficult time.

Every shirt purchased helps us continue that work and provides funds we can put toward the programs, supplies, and items needed to serve local children and families.

No Bunny Left Behind is returning for 2027

We are so excited to announce that No Bunny Left Behind will be returning in 2027 through The Walker Philip Foundation!

Last year, our community came together to provide 156 children with Easter baskets. This year, our goal is even bigger: 200 children!

Every child deserves to feel celebrated, and we want to make sure that no child in our community is forgotten this Easter.

Basket Pickup: Saturday, March 20, 2027
Cost to families: FREE
Serving: Bartholomew County area families

We are just getting started, and over the next several months we will be sharing ways our community can help us reach our goal of 200 baskets.

Whether you are a business, church, organization, family, or individual, there will be a way for you to be part of No Bunny Left Behind.

Supporting Our Community, One Benefit at a Time.

At the Walker Phillip Foundation, we believe that when a family is facing a difficult season, they shouldn’t have to navigate it alone.

As we continue growing, we’re opening our doors to help support upcoming benefits throughout Southern Indiana. Whether you’re planning a benefit for a family in need, a child, a medical situation, or another meaningful cause, our team is happy to help wherever we can.

Our support can include:

-Connecting and coordinating with local businesses for donations
-Event planning & organization
-Day-of-event assistance and coordination
- Benefit advertising & community outreach
-Building relationships with local businesses and organizations
-Helping brainstorm ways to make your event successful
-Any hands-on support we can provide

We know how overwhelming it can be to organize a benefit while also caring about the person or family at the center of it all. Our goal is to take some of that weight off your shoulders and help bring the community together.

First round of donations for Walker’s Birthday Project 🫶🏻

We are so thankful to everyone who has reached out, asked questions, sent support or donated.

We are still a few donations away from being able to give our first Party Pack.

Items needed are :

-cake mix
-cans of Sprite, Orange Soda, or Root B**r
-disposable cake pans
-candles
-matches (with striker)
-frosting
