Howard County marks its 11th annual International Overdose Awareness Day on Monday, August 31, from 6-8:30 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 9120 Frederick Road, Ellicott City. This free community event honors those lost to overdose, celebrates those in recovery, and connects attendees with local resources. Lt. Governor Aruna Miller delivers the keynote address.
Come out for naloxone training, resource tables, healing art, personal stories, and a candlelight ceremony. Together, we can prevent overdose!
