We’re so excited to share about our rebrand and can’t wait to see everyone back on the Gervais Street Bridge this October!

The rebranding comes along with other organizational changes to the long-running event, which shuts down a major bridge for a sunset dinner over the river. (Full story below.)

Formerly known as the Gervais Street Bridge Dinner, the Prisma Health Three Rivers Bridge Dinner reflects a renewed and intentional commitment to the Broad, Saluda, and Congaree rivers—the waterways that shape the Midlands and connect our communities. The event’s evolution reinforces its charitable mission, focusing on river health, public access, environmental protection, and education across the Three Rivers region.

Since its inception in 2015, the dinner has grown into a flagship Midlands event and a shared civic experience. Hosted on the iconic Gervais Street Bridge, the dinner brings 1,200 guests together for a seated Sunday supper overlooking the Congaree River, accompanied by live music and curated beer and wine.

It is both a celebration of place and a reminder of the responsibility we share to protect and steward these vital natural resources. The Three Rivers Bridge Dinner is where community, culture, and conservation meet—uniting people at one table in support of rivers that sustain our region.

We’ve been keeping an eye on the weather and Sunday’s forecast looks favorable, and while we know weather can always change, current conditions suggest good odds for an evening to enjoy one of Columbia’s most beloved events.

The countdown is on — the Gervais Street Bridge Dinner is this Sunday! 🌉✨

Here’s what you need to know before you arrive:
🚗 Parking is available on both sides of the bridge — but we highly recommend using Uber or Lyft!
🍷 Gates open at 3PM for Sponsors + VIPs and 4PM for General Admission.
☔ The event is rain or shine, with a inclement backup date on Sunday, November 2 just in case.
👗 Dress to impress (and for comfort — you’ll want to stroll the bridge a few times).
