Riverfest weekend is BACK and BIGGER than ever! 🔥

As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, Riverfest 2026 will feature expanded heritage programming, outdoor recreation, boat tours, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and MORE. This year’s event will culminate with a rare and unforgettable sight: the dramatic illumination of all 26 historic bridge piers across the river on Sunday evening, which has only been attempted once before in the past century! During this can’t-miss finale, the Veterans Memorial Bridge between Columbia and Wrightsville will close to vehicle traffic and open exclusively to pedestrians, giving you a chance to walk directly above the fiery line of bridge piers.

Thank you to the Wright’s Ferry Mansion Louise Steinman von Hess Foundation for funding the bridge burning lighting in memory of Louise McClure Tinsley Steinman von Hess.

Check out the full schedule to see all that’s NEW for 2026 and start planning your Riverfest weekend! https://riverfestpa.com/riverfest-schedule/

🌧️ Weather Update 🌧️

Unfortunately, due to rain in the forecast, we need to cancel our Columbia’s Fourth Saturday Earth Day: Touch‑A‑Truck event on April 25 from 2–4 PM. Rain and trash truck inspections don’t mix, and safety is our top priority.

Thank you so much for your flexibility and support. We’re looking forward to rescheduling this event for a better day!

Big wheels, big gratitude 🚛💥

A huge THANK YOU to KBS Waste Solutions for rolling into our Touch-A-Truck event on Saturday, April 25th and giving our community a hands-on experience to remember!

Since 1969, KBS has built a strong reputation in trucking and transportation, and under the leadership of Scott R. Wagner, they’ve continued to grow and innovate across both the trucking and waste industries. With decades of experience and a legacy that includes founding successful companies like York Waste Disposal and Penn Waste, Scott has helped shape the industry in a big way.

Now, with the launch of KBS Waste Solutions in 2025, that same commitment to dependable, efficient, and eco-friendly service continues strong. Their team goes above and beyond to deliver reliable, personalized waste solutions for every customer.

We’re so grateful to have them be part of our event and community. Be sure to check them out and show them some love! 🙌
