We're looking forward to an evening of fellowship, reconnecting with area alumni, and introducing the members of Class XXI to the Southeast Missouri agricultural community!

Congratulations to the Mizzou College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR) on the ribbon cutting of the new Michael L. Parson Meat Science Education and Training Laboratory!

This exciting investment in agricultural education, research and hands-on learning will help prepare the next generation of agricultural leaders while strengthening Missouri's livestock and meat industries for years to come.

It was wonderful to see several ALOT alumni in attendance for this milestone, including USDA Under Secretary for Farm Production and Conservation Richard Fordyce (Class IX), Missouri Department of Agriculture Director Chris Chinn (Class XIII), Missouri Farm Bureau President Garrett Hawkins (Class XII), Missouri Pork Association Executive Director Scott Hays (Class VI), and Missouri Cattlemen's Association Executive Vice President Mike Deering (Class XIX), who each shared remarks during the celebration.

Nominations are now open for the 2026 ALOT Awards, honoring individuals whose leadership, service and commitment have made a lasting impact on Missouri agriculture, the ALOT program and their communities.

Nominations are open for three awards:

• Ag Leader of the Year
• ALOT Distinguished Service Award
• J. Bruce Bullock Outstanding Alumni Award

A HUGE thank you to the sponsors and teams who made the 3rd Annual ALOT Cup such a fun day!

Our Hole and Cart Sponsors helped bring the course to life and played an important part in making this event possible. We are incredibly grateful for the businesses, organizations and individuals who continue to invest in Missouri ALOT and the future of agricultural leadership.

And to all of our teams: THANK YOU! You showed up ready to have a good time, even with the Missouri heat turned up a little too high. We loved seeing everyone out on the course, catching up with friends and making new connections along the way.

What a day! A huge THANK YOU to all of the teams who came out to support Missouri ALOT. We’re so grateful for everyone who spent the day on the course, brought the fun, competed, laughed, and helped make this year’s tournament such a success!

Tomorrow is tournament day, and we want to take a moment to recognize the businesses and organizations whose generous support helps make this event possible.

The ALOT Cup is about more than a day on the golf course. It’s about bringing people together, strengthening relationships, and investing in the next generation of leaders who will help shape the future of Missouri agriculture.

Class XXI takes on Kansas City!

ALOT Class XXI spent last week immersed in Kansas City, exploring the people, industries and leadership that help move Missouri forward.

From stepping into the White House Decision Center at the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library to touring Ingredion and the BNSF Argentine Yard, the class gained firsthand insight into leadership, food manufacturing, transportation and the supply chain.

The experience continued at Farm Journal, where members heard from agriculture and industry leaders, followed by conversations with Kansas City civic leaders.

The class also explored food safety, traceability, nutrition, supply chain vulnerabilities and constructive feedback before getting an even closer look at Kansas City with KCPD, the River Market Farmers Market and an urban agriculture tour.

Three days. Countless conversations. New perspectives. And plenty of opportunities to connect agriculture, business, government and community.

That’s what ALOT is all about, learning together, building relationships and developing leaders who are ready to make a difference in Missouri.
