Please join us in congratulating Kayden Guymon, ALOT Board President and Class XIX alumnus, on being recognized as the inaugural Young Alumni Award recipient by the Mizzou Alumni Association and the Mizzou College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources.
This recognition reflects Kayden’s incredible leadership, service, and commitment to advancing Missouri agriculture through advocacy, policy, and mentorship. We are grateful for the vision and dedication he brings to ALOT and proud to have him leading our organization as Board President.
Congratulations, Kayden! Your passion for agriculture and servant leadership continue to make a lasting impact across our state. We are proud to celebrate this well-deserved honor.
During the Mizzou College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Mizzou Alumni Association Awards last week- Kayden Guymon (2013 Initiate) was recognized as the inaugural Young Alumni Award Recipient!
The Young Alumni Award is awarded to an alumnus who is 35 or younger, and who displays outstanding professional achievement, leadership and volunteerism.
Kayden Guymon is a 2016 graduate in Animal Sciences. He serves as director of regulator affairs and policy counsel for Missouri Farm Bureau Federation, where he directs policy analysis on state and federal agricultural regulations.
Prior to his current role, Guymon was an associate at the law firm of Haden & Colbert. During that time, he collaborated with the MU Extension Agricultural Business and Policy team on provisions in energy leases presented to Missouri landowners and tenants. He continues to support the college as an advisor to CAFNR's Center for Rural Energy Security and by serving on the search committee for the Division Director of Animal Sciences.
Kayden's commitment to the university extends to his leadership within the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity, where he has served as the president of the alumni board of our local chapter and currently serves as a regional vice president for the national fraternity. He is also the founding member of the Mizzou Greek Alliance, advocating for the fraternity community on the University of Missouri campus. He is also the chair of Agricultural Leaders of Tomorrow - a two-year adult leadership program targeted towards agricultural producers and rural leaders who have a passion to promote Missouri agriculture.
