Its time to volunteer at the food pantry. This Thursday, May 21, 1:45-4:15. We are short 2 volunteers, but you need to sign up at least 48 hours in advance so sign up tonight or before 1pm tomorrow. We always have a good time. It would be great to see some new faces. Use the reservation code "ColumbiaAtheists" to sign up as one of us.

Flat Branch Park Clean up! Meet and Cherry and 4th St.
City provides gloves, trash bags, grabbers and vests!
Then off for coffee at Fretboard Coffeeat 10 am!

We are a politically aware group of individuals. I hope to get many more people to register to vote and then VOTE! 10,000 democrats did not even vote in the 2024 election.

In Boone County a group “www.MoveTheNeedle.vote” meeting on Tues May 19 hopefully, many come to hear, share, and discuss ways to “get out the vote”.

I have a great time when our group is there to volunteer! The clients are so appreciative. I work to help them feel comfortable with conversations. 😍

Today kicks off Volunteer Appreciation Week! Our work is not possible without the support of our volunteers.

In 2025....

✅ 10,786 volunteers served at The Food Bank.
✅ The Food Bank distributed 25.5 million pounds of food with the support of volunteers.
✅ 34,245 senior boxes were assembled by volunteers.
