Midwest Pride Day

Midwest Pride Day This April 30 take a moment to be proud of the Midwest with our first annual Midwest Pride Day!

We're one of the most hard working, honest, and community driven regions in the nation - so stand up for some Midwest pride! If you look at America, or even the whole world, everyone has something to be proud of: a holiday or an identity, something that makes them special and proud of their roots. However too often those in the Midwest feel that their heritage is nothing special - we don't seem to

have the traditions of the South, the revolutionary history and prominence of the East, the feel good, beach vibe of the West Coast, or the cowboy feel of the West. But we DO have a history and identity though; the Midwest is the most diverse place in the most diverse country in the world - and we should celebrate it! The current goal is to get a proclamation from every governor in the Midwest - declaring April 30th as a holiday. A Midwest Fest will be held on April 30th, the date of the Louisiana Purchase, to celebrate America's heartland. If you would like to show how awesome the Midwest is, email us and we'll get things going! We are currently looking to make a video to introduce our movement and prove that the Midwest is the best.
