Enditnow North America The Seventh-day Adventist Church recognizes that abuse affects children, women, and men within the church and community.

An initiative of the Seventh-day Adventist Church dedicated to raising awareness and equipping individuals and communities to prevent and respond to abuse in all its forms through education, resources, and faith-based advocacy. In response, the North American Division and Adventist Risk Management created the campaign to be launched in your church and community to help break the cycle of abuse. You can launch this campaign on Emphasis Day, which is the last Sabbath in August, or on any other Sabbath that works for your church. By launching an campaign, you can help raise awareness of this important issue. You can also turn your church into a safe place for victims. As Seventh-day Adventists, we are called to reflect Christ in the way we respond when someone shares that they have been harmed.

That means listening with compassion, taking concerns seriously, following reporting requirements, and helping connect people with appropriate support.

Join us for the Safeguarding Peace Advocacy Training, a three-day event designed to equip church and community leaders with the knowledge and practical skills to recognize abuse, respond with compassion, and support those in need.

Through meaningful discussions, hands-on strategies, and collaborative learning, you'll be better prepared to advocate for vulnerable individuals and help build safer, more supportive church communities.
