Enditnow North America

Enditnow North America The Seventh-day Adventist Church recognizes that abuse affects children, women, and men within the church and community.

An initiative of the Seventh-day Adventist Church dedicated to raising awareness and equipping individuals and communities to prevent and respond to abuse in all its forms through education, resources, and faith-based advocacy. In response, the North American Division and Adventist Risk Management created the campaign to be launched in your church and community to help break the cycle

of abuse. You can launch this campaign on Emphasis Day, which is the last Sabbath in August, or on any other Sabbath that works for your church. By launching an campaign, you can help raise awareness of this important issue. You can also turn your church into a safe place for victims. Abuse isn’t always obvious. It doesn’t always leave visible marks, and it doesn’t always look the way we expect.

That’s why awareness matters. As a church community, we are called to look beyond appearances, to listen carefully, and to respond with compassion and wisdom.

If something feels wrong, it deserves to be taken seriously. 🫂❤️‍🩹

For many people experiencing abuse, speaking up is one of the hardest things they will ever do.

And sometimes, the person they tell is you.

That moment matters. Your response can either build trust and safety or reinforce silence and fear.

Let’s be a community that listens with compassion, responds with care, and reflects the heart of Christ. 🫂❤️‍🩹

“Why don’t they just leave?” is a question often asked, but it doesn’t reflect the full reality.

Leaving an abusive situation can be complex, risky, and deeply emotional.

As a community of faith, we are called to respond with understanding, compassion, and support instead of judgment.

Let’s shift the question and become part of the solution. 🫂❤️‍🩹

When someone shares they are experiencing abuse, the response they receive can shape what happens next. 🤍

Words have power. They can either open the door to healing or reinforce silence and fear. ❤️‍🩹

As a church community, we are called to listen, support, and respond with compassion. 🫂

Not all abuse leaves visible marks, but that doesn’t make it any less real.

Control, fear, isolation, and silence are all signs that something isn’t right. Too often, these signs go unnoticed, even in our church communities.

We are called to be aware, to listen, and to respond with compassion and courage.

If you’re experiencing harm, you are not alone.
If you see the signs, don’t stay silent.
