Today, we proudly highlight two of our outstanding SC NOBLE leaders who represented with excellence at the South Carolina Women in Law Enforcement *Elevate Together* Conference in Mount Pleasant.

Deputy Chief Melron Kelly of the City of Columbia Police Department served as a featured speaker, pouring wisdom, leadership, and encouragement into those in attendance. His commitment to uplifting and empowering women in law enforcement reflects the very heart of service and mentorship.

Undersheriff Tyrone Simmons of the Charleston County Sheriff’s Department was also present in strong support of this impactful event — demonstrating that advancing women in our profession is a shared responsibility and a collective mission.

SC NOBLE is proud to stand alongside initiatives that strengthen leadership, foster unity, and elevate the next generation.

The South Carolina Chapter of NOBLE would like to inform our members that Executive Board elections will be held soon. This is an important time for our chapter as we continue to strengthen our leadership and advance our mission of service, professionalism, and community engagement.

The South Carolina Chapter of NOBLE joins the nation in honoring the life and legacy of Rev. Jesse Jackson. His unwavering commitment to justice, equality, and empowerment helped shape generations and opened doors for countless communities across our country.

Rev. Jackson’s voice was a powerful force for change, reminding us that service, courage, and unity are essential in the ongoing pursuit of fairness and opportunity for all. His work continues to inspire law enforcement professionals and community leaders alike to strengthen trust, build bridges, and stand firm in the fight for civil rights.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and all who were impacted by his extraordinary life. May we honor his legacy by continuing the mission of service, advocacy, and community engagement.
