Assalamu alaikum everyone! I am super excited to share that our FIRST msa meeting of the semester will be this upcoming Monday Sept 12th at 7pm in Russell House Underground (RUSSLL 009) inshallah! We are so excited to announce that the country that won our global philanthropy for MSA this Ramadan is Palestine! The organization we chose for us to donate the money through is the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). The money you all will donate inshallah will be delegated for refugees living in Gaza! UNRWA aids refugees in financial, food, medical, and educational assistance, many things that us Muslims living in the west often take for granted. Please help us out by spreading the word and resharing our post to your social media pages :) We are SO excited to give back to a country that is neglected by many people all over the world. All the donations can be sent to our president via Venmo and at the end of Ramadan Inshallah we will post a screenshot of the donation confirmation with the total amount :)

Salam everyone✨️ We are so excited to annouce that Imam Mutahhir Sabree will be joining us at our next meeting TOMORROW to give us a lecture on Islam through the lens of black history month! The meeting will be on Monday, February 7th at 7pm in Russell House room 205! Hope to see everyone there :)

Salam everyone ✨️ Just wanted to let y'all know our first event of the semester will be a paint night THIS Friday, February 4th at 7pm in Russell House room 207C :). All materials as well as food will be provided!! You don't have to be an artist to attend; we are lucky to have our event coordinator Haseeba lead the night in us all creating a beginner friendly painting :).
