Wescott Acres Pet Rescue We are an all volunteer, non-profit 501c3 dog/cat rescue specializing in matching families with the All adoptions go through a screening process.

Our purpose is to save the lives of abandoned, abused and neglected dogs and cats and place them into permanent homes. We ensure that each pet coming into our care is given the highest quality of care and adopted into a loving home to be treated as a companion! All rescued pets receive veterinary care and spay/neuter procedure! They stay in a foster home where we support them emotionally and get t

o know them and their specific needs. Wescott Acres Pet Rescue realizes how important it is for you when selecting a new family member. We encourage you to take the pet for a Home Trial for a period of time before making an adoption decision. This way, in the comfort of your own home, you can see how things work out between your family and the pet you have selected. We feel that this no-stress adoption process is much better for both you and the pet in deciding the best long-term situation. We check veterinary references, the lifestyles of each potential adopter, check several personal references of people knowing you as a pet owner and conduct a home visit to make sure that your family personality matches the personality of the pet. Our goal is long-term success for both of you! Once a home is approved, a contract is signed whereby the pet’s new family agrees to certain quality-of–life specifications for their pet, and agree to return the pet to Wescott Acres Pet Rescue if they ever find themselves in a situation where they cannot care for the pet any longer. Adoption fees vary depending on medical care provided.

SNOOPY IS ADOPTED!!!!
❤ Oh, we are SO HAPPY that Snoopy has been adopted by a dear friend of Wescott Acres Pet Rescue!
❤ Taylor has been involved in pet care at Wescott Acres Luxury Pet Resort for many years in many capacities. She has been a wonderful Groomer there for years, and she has been Snoopy's biggest advocate and friend!
🐾 Snoopy is now ADOPTED by Taylor and her husband, and we know he now has a WONDERFUL FUTURE! ❤
🐾 Snoopy needed a friend to play with in his home. He has hit the lottery! Snoopy now lives with two Great Danes and two Frenchies! AND, Snoopy has decided he loves the cat in the house also!! He is one smart guy - playing his cards right!!!
🐾 Snoopy now enjoys many adventures at the River, hiking, and playing in the large yard with his four best friends - never a dull moment, and Snoopy is SO HAPPY!
We are SO appreciative of Taylor loving Snoopy and adopting him. Taylor has the most amazing, loving heart! And, she just has a special loving way with all dogs.

UPDATE: SIMBA IS ADOPTED!🐾❤

Baby Simba is looking for a forever home! 😍
This little guy was rescued from a neglectful, unsafe situation when he was just 5 weeks old!
He was a hungry, terrified little baby and was in immenant danger! Thankfully a volunteer observed the situation and immediately stepped in to save this precious little life! ❤️
Despite a rough start, he has shown just how resilient he is. Now he’s thriving — playful, affectionate, curious and doing wonderfully. He’s ready to leave his difficult beginning behind and find a forever home filled with love, patience, and security. 🐾
Simba has been in a foster home around a large and small dog as well as others cats and kids! He's proved to be a well rounded muffin that just wants to be a part of things! 🌞

UPDATE: ALL 5 KITTENS HAVE BEEN ADOPTED!

😻 Five Little Gentlemen Looking for Forever Homes! 😻

All five of these precious kittens are boys, and they just turned four months old this week. We’ve raised them since they were tiny bottle babies after being orphaned far too young — and look at them now. 💙🐾

They’re healthy, happy, neutered, and fully vaccinated (including Rabies). Their amazing foster mom made sure they grew up around cats, dogs, and children, so these boys are as well‑rounded as they are adorable.

These tiny babies aren’t quite ready for adoption yet, but we could not wait another minute to share their cuteness with you. Their little faces, tiny paws, and squeaky meows are already stealing hearts over here. 💕😻

As they grow, they’ll get all the love, vet care, and socializing they need to become healthy, happy, adoptable kittens. FOR ADOPTION: THE DIFFERENCE LOVE MAKES ❤
Buddy has come so far... at 6 months old he was left on the front porch of his apartment complex when his family moved.
🐾 Buddy lived in the parking lot for 2 years eating what food someone left outside in the cold, rain and heat. He drank out of rain puddles and stayed away from cars and predators the best he could...until...some animal badly bit and scratched him on his face and neck, and a renter who fed him from time to time let Wescott Acres Pet Rescue know of Buddy's needs.
🐾 We got Buddy immediate veterinary care at Midlands Veterinary Practice and The Cat Clinic. All wounds are healed, he is neutered, has all vaccines, and has had a dental.
🐾 Over a few months he has completely healed thanks to his wonderful foster mom who has nurtured him! ❤
🐾 Buddy has contacted FIV through his injuries which means that he should be an only cat or living with another FIV cat. FIV does not affect dogs or people. It is a disease that compromises his immune system. He has some sniffles now and then which are the only signs now. FIV cats can live long, normal lives being indoors-only and cared for with quality food and regular veterinary visits.
🐾 It is so obvious how he is shining now from the care his foster mom has given to him. (Here are "After" and then "Before" photos.)
🐾 Buddy is truly an exceptionally affectionate cat who has survived so much and still loves everyone with his whole heart! ❤
