Every time you say yes to God, something in you has to die. Old habits. Old comfort. Old ways of doing life that felt safe but were never you are called to be.

That's Him removing a version of you that was never the real you to begin with.

Because you weren't made to stay who you were before He got a hold of you.

You can have faith and still struggle with doubt. That's not a contradiction, that's being human.

The question isn't will unbelief show up. It will. The question is which one you're feeding - faith or unblief.

Feed doubt with worry and comparison, don't be surprised when it's louder than your faith.

Feed faith with the Word, with worship, with remembering what He's already done, and that's what wins out.

Whatever you won't let go of, that's exactly what the enemy will keep using against you.

It doesn't matter if it's control, a relationship, your image, a habit you keep excusing. If you're still holding on to it, devil's got a handle on you through it.

Surrender isn't losing. It's taking his leverage away.

So what are you still holding onto that you know needs to go?
