Today we are excited to officially launch our $150,000 capital campaign - our first as an organization! We’re ready to do the work. We need the resources. This funding will be split evenly between a rental assistance fund, a social services fund, and an endowment fund.

Haven Home Foundation was birthed out of a lived experience and a dream that maybe, just maybe, the affordability crisis could be eradicated. Can we keep up with the rapid pace, the deep need, and the growing problem? We say yes! We hope you’ll take some time to learn how and join us in the mission to lift communities out of poverty, one house at a time.

Just a reminder that doesn’t end until midnight! If you haven’t had a chance to give yet, then please click the link in our bio and help us reach our goal.

We know we’ve asked a lot today, but kinda gives us that excuse!

More than that, financial contributions give us the ability to be there when someone is exiting transitional living and doesn’t know what’s next. To partner with other housing organizations to support legislative advocacy and tenant unions. To work with families to get them housed and then focus on their therapeutic healing.

Hey friends! How we doing out there? It’s been a long day, but it’s worth it!

We’ll be joining the folks over at Central Carolina Community Foundation in about an hour to keep hyping up and talk about the work we are doing in the community! We will be a part of a panel of other organizations working in the housing space.

We’re moving into the next phase of our organization’s life and ability. To do that takes resources.

What an incredible conversation at Nickelodeon Theater last night! We were honored to be a part of a panel of change makers in the Midlands working to make housing affordable and equitable for all!

It was clear yet again that this conversation is nuanced, intersectional, and still very necessary. We will continue to collaborate and work hand in hand with our partners to see housing justice become a reality for generations to come!

We are incredibly honored and excited to be featured on Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid to discuss the affordable housing crisis and how we can solve the issue together!

We had a blast filming and it was an amazing experience! But, what is most important to us is that we had an opportunity to share our vision for the future of housing affordability in the Midlands and beyond.

The episode will air nationally on public television in the first quarter of 2023 and we will be sure to share it on social as well!

Thank you for believing in our mission and bringing us to this point! Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work in 2023!
