SVHS Education Foundation 2026 Award Ceremony

05/03/2026

On April 21, 2026 we were honored to attend the SVHS Award Ceremony to witness this year’s scholarship recipients receive their award: Ella Baker, Harry Bartlett, Marvin Barlett, Vendant Pinglikar, and Milan Vu.

Each of these outstanding students was selected not only for their academic excellence, but for their unwavering dedication to serving others, their commitment to volunteerism, and their genuine passion for pursuing a future in medicine, engineering or science. Their hard work, character, and drive to make a difference truly set them apart. We have no doubt that these individuals will go on to make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.

Congratulations to this year’s recipients, we are inspired by your journey and excited to see all that you will accomplish.

Also thank you to everyone who donated, without your support none of this would be possible. Thank you for honoring Mohammed and helping fund our future healthcare workers, engineers and scientists!

Today would have been Mohammed Ahsan’s 35th birthday. He is deeply missed, and we continue to honor his life through the Mohammed Ahsan Siddiqui Memorial Scholarship.

Since its founding in 2020, the scholarship has awarded $10,000 to 10 deserving students, supporting academic achievement, service, and a passion for science. Thanks to the continued generosity of our donors, we plan to expand the program this year from three to five scholarships, extending our impact even further.

We invite you to consider supporting this mission and helping us carry forward Mohammed’s legacy of service and compassion.
