When we are in dry seasons (seasons where we don’t feel close to God) it’s hard to keep momentum. There’s no desire to want the dream that God has placed in our minds and hearts, because…we are tired and we find ourself with no strength to fight.

But if we can stand up and say “I’m tired but my soul refuses to die”, then we will see Gods plans for our life unfold.

Matthew 6:33 says,
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

God knows that we always have daily needs either spiritually or physically and has promised throughout scriptures to provide for us if only we can trust in Him. But it’s hard to put trust in God alone when we put trust in people. It’s hard to put God first when we seek everything else in others or things.

If we allow all of the bitterness and frustration that we experience on the daily, it will contaminate our vessel. When our vessel is contaminated we lash out on others. We walk defeated. This is why it is so important to ask God to cleanse us. Give us pure intentions, a pure heart and a pure mindset 🤍
