August is Black Philanthropy Month! 🖤💚❤️
Black Philanthropy Month was established in 2011 by Dr. Jackie Bouvier Copeland to celebrate and inspire charitable giving within Black communities around the world. The observance recognizes the long-standing tradition of generosity, mutual aid, faith, volunteerism, and community support that has strengthened families and communities for generations.
At Kindred Hearts South Carolina, we witness that spirit of giving every day. Your generosity helps provide resources, advocacy, education, and support to kinship caregivers: grandparents, relatives, and close family friends, who have stepped up to raise children in times of need.
As families prepare for a new school year, your gift can help ensure caregivers and the children they love have the support they need to succeed—not just with school supplies, but with programs and services that promote stable, healthy, and thriving home environments throughout the year.
Every donation, no matter the amount, makes a difference.
💙 Donate today and help us strengthen kinship families across South Carolina. Together, we can empower caregivers, uplift children, and build brighter futures.
