Our bells went in for a โ€œtune upโ€! Our director (Jill Daniel) and her husband drove them personally to the manufacturer (Malmark) in Pennsylvania. The bells will be gone for a few weeks. When they come back, they should function and sound even better than they did before! โค๏ธ

For the first time ever, the Old Settlers Day Association introduced the ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญโ€™๐ฌ ๐€๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐, a special honor selected by 2025 President ๐Š๐ข๐ฆ ๐–๐ก๐ž๐ž๐ฅ๐ž๐ซ to recognize a standout parade entry.

๐ŸŽถ This yearโ€™s recipient: the ๐‹๐š๐ฐ๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž ๐„. ๐–๐จ๐ฅ๐Ÿ๐ž ๐‚๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐‡๐š๐ง๐๐›๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐‚๐ก๐จ๐ข๐ซ!
A monetary award and recognition certificate were presented earlier this year.
