Colton NY Museum and Historical Society Welcome to the Colton NY Museum FB page. The Colton NY Historical Society was formed in 1976. His items are displayed in this museum on the second floor.

Jackson Newton of South Colton purchased a large home in Colton and donated it to the Town to be used as a museum.

The Colton Historical Society will meet on Thursday, May 7th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Colton Town Hall. This will be a brainstorming meeting to get ideas for future Colton museum exhibits, hours for opening, and discussion of any other pertinent information. Public is invited to attend and contribute to this meeting.

We're doing our part to light up Main Street. The museum front porch light is lit as well as the overhead gazebo light. 'Tis the season to be jolly and deck those halls.
