Colorado Division of Housing (CDOH) has been supporting Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity and our mission to build homes, communities, and hope as a Gold-level partner since 2022 in addition to generously supporting Habitat since 2005. As part of the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA), CDOH partners with local communities to improve access to affordable, safe, and secure homes through a variety of available resources and assistance programs. We thank CDOH for their funding support of multiple houses in our Sand Creek neighborhood, including funding from Prop 123 dollars as of late 2024, which has directly contributed towards many Habitat families achieving their dream of affordable homeownership. Thank you, Colorado Division of Housing!

This home made a family's dream come true in 2008. It's about to do it again, 18 years later.

Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity purchases homes back from Habitat homeowners, "recycles" the homes with repairs and upgrades, then resells the homes at an affordable price to another Habitat homeowner. In this video, Eric Wells, our director of construction services, discusses the love and care that goes into our recycled homes to make them "like new" and ready for the next family to purchase.
