Kairos Family Services LLC Recruiting those who have a heart for working with at-risk children and youth. Call us for more information regarding treatment and traditional foster care.

Counseling - individuals, families, and coming soon - parenting classes and group therapy options. Kairos Family Services is the heart and soul of numerous years of working in and with the child welfare system as a foster parent, adoptive parent, educator, CASA, social worker and mental health clinician. Recognizing the brokenness of a system that means to serve families and children, and acknowle

dging the hope and resilience of those same children and families - it is the desire of our organization to attempt to "bridge the gap" by providing services that view all clients through the lens of trauma. Kairos leans heavily on the teachings and strategies of hope proposed by Bryan Post, Dr. Bruce Perry, Dr. Daniel Siegal and Heather Forbes.

“Imagine her mom reading this. Heartbreaking. Her pain is not for public show.”

Those words hit me deep. Because if her mama ever does read this, I want her to know something.

Mama, I see you.
I don’t know what led you here. I don’t know what happened or how it all fell apart. But I do know this kind of pain doesn’t come out of nowhere. It comes from life being too heavy for too long. It comes from trying your best and still falling short. It comes from brokenness that maybe you didn’t even cause.

I’m not here to judge you.
I’m not here to tell your story or your child’s story. That’s not mine to share. Their story belongs to them, and yours belongs to you.

But I am here to tell you this.
Your child is safe.
Your child is loved.
Your child is laughing again.
They are learning what peace feels like.
They are learning that love can stay.

And I am cheering you on.
I mean that with my whole heart.
I am in my prayer closet praying for you.
Praying that God will do something powerful in your life.
Praying that healing will come.
Praying that one day your arms will hold your child again.

I pray for reunification.
I pray for redemption.
But I also pray honestly.
I ask God to only let it happen when it’s safe. When it’s right. When it’s in the best interest of your child.

Because love isn’t blind.
Love sees truth and still hopes anyway.
Love protects. Love fights. Love waits for the right time.

I know this is hard.
I know you miss your baby.
I know there are nights when you cry until your body aches.
And I just need you to know that someone out here is praying for you through it all.

I pray that you find peace in the middle of the wreckage.
That you feel God’s presence even when you think you’ve gone too far.
That you see a way forward when it feels like there isn’t one.

This isn’t about shame.
This is about grace.
The kind of grace that meets you right where you are.
The kind that doesn’t run out.
The kind that redeems and rebuilds and restores.

God is still writing your story.
He’s not done with you.
And I believe one day, you’ll look back and see how far He brought you.

I’m praying for your heart.
For your healing.
For your child.
And for the day when peace finally replaces the pain.

Foster parents,
If nobody told you this week, let me be the one.

You are not crazy.
You are not weak.
You are not failing.

This is hard because it is hard.
Not because you are doing something wrong.
Not because you are not strong enough.
Not because you are not cut out for this.

Foster care is a battle most people will never understand.
It is showing up to visits that leave your kids undone.
It is wiping tears that come from places you cannot fix.
It is holding space for grief that is bigger than their little bodies should ever have to carry.
It is advocating in rooms where you feel small and unheard.
It is loving children so deeply while knowing you might not be the one who gets to raise them.

And yet, you are still here.
You are still standing.
You are still showing up for kids who desperately need someone to stay.

That is not weakness. That is holy work.

And I hope you know Heaven sees every unseen moment. Every tear you shed in silence. Every prayer you whisper when no one else is listening.

You are not failing. You are fighting for kids in ways that matter more than you will ever know.
