No child should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.

This summer, Cherish Families is proud to partner with Utah Food Bank to connect children in our community with free, nutritious meals while school is out. Through the Summer Meals Program, any child or teen ages 18 and under can access free meals at locations throughout Utah from June 2 through August 8.

Cherish Families was honored to participate in the Iron County Care & Share Community Resource Fair! We are grateful to Shauna, our Housing Coordinator, and Deb, our Victim Advocate, for representing our organization and helping connect individuals and families with valuable resources and support.

FREE Safe@Home (Grades 4–6) | Cherish Families covers the full registration cost of $30 per participant.

Safe@Home by Safe Sitter® is designed to help students in grades 4–6 feel confident and prepared when staying home alone. Participants will learn safe habits, how to prevent unsafe situations, and what to do during emergencies like power outages or severe weather.

Students will also be introduced to basic first aid skills and learn how to assess and respond to common injuries and illnesses.

We’re excited to offer programs that help youth build confidence, responsibility, and safety awareness in everyday situations. ✨

Safe Sitter® Essentials helps students build the skills and confidence they need to stay safe when home alone, caring for younger siblings, or babysitting.
