Unbreakable Beginnings

Unbreakable Beginnings Our mission is to help survivors of domestic violence all over the world. Feel free to email or message privately for one on one help. We had six kids together.

Welcome, this is a safe page for domestic violence survivor's and anyone who wants information on domestic violence awareness and help. We are here for you and you are not alone! My name is Danielle and I am a Domestic Violence SURVIVOR! I am a mother of ten beautiful kids and one grand-daughter. I became a mother of twins at the age of 15. I thought I was with the guy that I would be with forever

. I thought we were going to have kids and get a house and grow old together. What I thought love meant is not what he showed me. So our "love story" turned into violence and fear. My kids and I were in constant fear of what daddy was going to do next. We were isolated away from my family and only lived with his family that never stepped in to help me even when he beat us in front of them. My story is very intense and I know there are so many survivors who can relate to me. I thought there was no one out there who went through what I had to endure. I thought this was my life and just the way it was going to be forever. I was ashamed and didn't want my family to know for ten years what was really going on. I didn't want to hear " I told you so." But I was very wrong. I have met some of the most amazing individuals who have shared their stories with me and inspired me. I lived in many safehouses across the east coast and learned so much from these warriors. My eternal thanks to all of them. Please let me help! If you are in a scary situation or you think you know someone who is, please share my information with them. I am here ready to listen with no judgement. I have tons of resources if needed. Two years after I escaped my abuser with four kids and pregnant with twins, I found a local agency for therapy and support. I ended up going through their DV awareness training and became a Domestic Violence Response Team Leader for fifteen years. For the last seven years I was hired to run the entire crisis program! Not in a million years did I ever think I would be helping other survivors with empowerment so they know they too can break the cycle.

💜 Reclaiming Yourself After What You Thought Was Love 💜
(For anyone finding the courage to heal — you are not alone.)

1️⃣ See them for who they really are — not who you wanted them to be.
Abuse often hides behind false promises and charm. Start by remembering the moments when love didn’t feel safe — when you were ignored, dismissed, or made to feel small. You’re not erasing them; you’re reclaiming your truth.
2️⃣ Trade the fantasy for the facts.
Write down how they really made you feel — even on your worst days. When you read it back, you’ll see things more clearly and recognize that love should never hurt, control, or silence you.
3️⃣ Let go — don’t get even.
Close your eyes and picture them walking away. Then, instead of chasing, imagine yourself walking toward peace, strength, and safety. Every time you do this, the emotional hold loses power.
4️⃣ Refocus your energy on YOU.
When you feel tempted to reach out, check their social media, replay memories, do something kind for yourself instead — take a walk, write, breathe. Over time, the same energy that once kept you tied to them will help you rebuild your strength and self-worth.

💜 Letting go doesn’t mean you stop believing in love — it means you stop mistaking pain for it. Healing isn’t about forgetting; it’s about choosing you and reclaiming your peace.

💜October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month 💜

At United Advocacy Group, we proudly lead Igniting Hope, our program dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking throughout South Jersey.

Abuse doesn’t always start with physical harm.
It often begins with 💔 control, isolation, jealousy, or criticism, behaviors that break down confidence and independence over time.

This month, we stand beside survivors, raise awareness, and honor the courage it takes to heal. Together, we can build communities rooted in safety, respect, and hope.

💜 Let’s break the silence. Support survivors. Ignite hope.🦋
