Looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community? Daily Bread Community Food Pantry has a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals, families, groups, and organizations!

🤝 Volunteer Opportunities Include:
Picking up food donations from local grocery stores
Sorting and stocking donated food items
Loading groceries into recipients' vehicles during distributions
Hosting a food drive with your school, workplace, church, or community group
👨‍👩‍👧 Friday Night Family Volunteers – a special opportunity for children under 13 to serve alongside a parent or guardian

Whether you can help once a month or every week, your time makes a difference in the lives of local families facing food insecurity.

The Seed to Supper Home Gardening Class is in full swing at Heidelberg UCC Church in Schwenksville. With the donation of our amazing community sponsor Wehrung's (Collegeville), we will be providing the class participants with fabric pots, potting soil, and seedlings to get their gardens started. Thank you, as well, to the Penn State Extension Master Gardener volunteers for providing a engaging & educational veggie garden experience.

We are deeply grateful for the work of the Letter Carriers Union at the Collegeville Post Office. Their Mother's Day food drive brought 1624.2lbs of food for our local families in need. Next time you see your mail carrier, please give him or her a big round of applause and a kind word of thanks. ❤️👍
