August gave us so much to be grateful for!

Throughout the month, believers gathered for witness training in communities around the world, taking intentional steps to grow in confidence as they live out and share their faith.

We are deeply thankful for each person who said yes to being equipped, and for the trainers, leaders, and partners who helped make these gatherings possible.

As we look back on August, would you join us in praying for these newly equipped witnesses? Pray that God would give them courage, wisdom, and opportunities to demonstrate and share the love of Jesus in the places where they live, work, and play.

We’re grateful for all God is doing, and expectant for the impact that will continue long after these trainings have ended.

We often believe that words are the most important part of sharing the Gospel. While they are crucial, sometimes we find ourselves in a situation where all we can do is trust God to carry the burdens of those around us.

This story comes from a Salt & Light Process™ witness who found herself in such a situation. She learned that while presence and words matter deeply, we are limited and cannot carry every burden ourselves. Only God can truly carry weight too heavy for human hands.

Today, we want to introduce you to Gabriella Harsányi, a member of IHS Global™’s Ministry Services Team!

Gabriella joined IHS Global™ in October 2024 and serves as an International Ministry Coordinator, supporting and connecting people and organizations across Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, Australia & Oceania, and Northern Eurasia.

Her role focuses on equipping and encouraging individuals and teams in the Saline Process™ through coaching, community building, and meaningful connections that help strengthen ministry impact around the world.

We are grateful for Gabriella’s heart for people, her passion for ministry, and the way she helps foster a global community of equipped witnesses.

Today, we join our Hungarian colleagues, partners, and friends in celebrating St. Stephen’s Day—Hungary’s National Day!

August 20 commemorates the founding of the Hungarian state and the legacy of King Stephen I, Hungary’s first king. His leadership helped establish the Kingdom of Hungary, strengthen the nation’s Christian heritage, and shape a legacy that remains deeply connected to Hungary’s history and national identity.

We are especially grateful for our Hungarian team members and for the important role Hungary has played in the story of IHS Global™.

Today is National Nonprofit Day, so on behalf of all of us at IHS Global™, we want to thank you for following us!

The United Nations has designated today as the International Day Commemorating the Victims of Violence Based on Religion.

Days like this are a sober reminder that many Christians around the world are persecuted for their faith in Jesus. Yet, as this verse reminds us, those who suffer are blessed in the kingdom of heaven.

Today, we pray for those who are persecuted for righteousness's sake. Jesus, please give Your disciples strength to endure suffering. By our suffering, may we be faithful witnesses to the hope we have in You.

Lord Jesus, thank You for overcoming the power of this world. We recognize that many have troubles far greater than our own. Please bless them with Your peace and help them treasure Your Word in times of trouble.

We lift up Your people in the Middle East. In a region torn by war, may believers experience a special peace from You. Let them be faithful witnesses to the amazing hope they have in You.

In Your Name we pray, Amen.

An equipped witness completed the Saline Process™ Training the Trainers course on her wedding day! Even on one of the biggest days of her life, this woman was so deeply committed to the mission of equipping witnesses for Christ that she wanted to be certified as a Witness Trainer herself.

She went on to play a key role in Bolivia, helping make the country’s first Saline Process™ Witness Training possible.

Let this be an encouragement for us as believers: Our commitment to Jesus is the most important commitment of our lives.
