Mission:
Promote academic and professional advancement by empowering minorities agriculture, natural resources, and related sciences

Did you know that the National Farmers Union offers several scholarships every year for tuition and books? Well they do! And now in addition to their regular scholarships, we are excited to announce a $1500 scholarship specifically for MANRRS members and their children.

Recipients will be selected based on academic records, social and community activities, an essay describing personal and professional goals, and involvement with MANRRS.

The National Society of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) and Farm Credit are accepting applications for the Farm Credit VIP Scholarship Program. Application deadline is this Sunday, February 7, 2021.

Scholarship recipients will receive VIP Farm Credit merch, the opportunity to participate in the Farm Credit VIP Track of the 2021 National MANRRS Conference, and a $1,000 academic scholarship. Up to 30 Undergraduate students will be awarded.

Julie Williams-Warren, a grad student in agricultural education, was an agronomy intern with Land O'Lakes this summer after sharing her resume at a MANRRS - Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences conference.
