KB'S Light Foundation We are a memorial foundation in honor of Keniol Bundage who lost his battle with diabetes in 2021. Our Memorial Scholarship is for High School Seniors who
1.

We are a scholarship foundation for high school seniors who may be fighting the same or a similar fight. Have a 2.5+ GPA
2. Have a Serious medical diagnosis, have a parent with the diagnosis, or lost a parent due to a serious medical issues
3. Live in the Brazos Valley area

As we prepare for this amazing event Friday I find myself fighting tears. This scholarships meaning to our beloved namesake means more than you could phantom. Teachers who believe in and push their students to do and be the best will ALWAYS overrule the people who make you want to give up! So to whoever wins ROOKIE TEACHER OF THE YEAR I have something special for you🫶🏾🍎

Let’s give a huge ROUND OF APPLAUSE to our amazing 4 2026 scholarship recipients. We are so proud of you all for maintaining a 4.0+ GPA all while taking care of sick parents and some even dealing with their own health issues. Go be great! 💚🫶🏾
