Hi everyone!

Coming up next Tuesday - October 5th at 5pm - SAM will have our first career series talk of the semester! We will be welcoming Edith Sandler, a Reference Librarian in the Manuscripts Division at the Library of Congress and a UMD iSchool alum! More info on her background can be found on the attached poster. We are very excited to announce that Edith Sandler will be our first speaker in SAM's Virtual Career Series this fall! Edith is a graduate of the iSchool and is currently a Reference Librarian in the Manuscripts Division at the Library of Congress. We are so excited to be on campus again this semester, seeing lots of old and new faces! Student Archivists at Maryland are holding our first member meeting of the Fall 2021 semester next Wednesday, September 8th, at 5pm via Zoom. We want to hear from you about what you want to get out of SAM this semester, so all current and prospective members are welcome to join us!
