HURRICANE MELISSA | GOD IS OUR REFUGE AND HELP

As indicated in a personal Facebook post yesterday, Melissa is a slow-moving storm that has intensified to a Category 4 hurricane with winds at 140mph. It is expected to strengthen to Category 5 with winds of 160mph before making landfall in Jamaica by Tuesday morning. Storm conditions are presently being experienced in Jamaica and the surrounding islands. This will persist over the coming days.

Psalm 46: 1-3
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; 3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof.
Shelter in a prepared place, pray, and stay safe.
