We are receiving reports that another group, described by witnesses as masked Patriot Front members carrying shields and other items, was dropped off by white vans in downtown Coeur dโAlene and is now marching through the downtown area.
They appear to be attempting to draw public attention.
If we get any word of escalations we will make a new post.

Coeur dโAlene Police confirmed the march lasted about 20 minutes and nothing escalated.
According to CDA Police, officers were in the area to monitor the situation.
Police said people have the right to assemble, and as long as they are law abiding, officers have no reason to interfere.

With new reports today of masked Patriot Front members marching around downtown Coeur dโAlene, many people will remember what happened the last time the group came to town.
In June 2022, a large police response unfolded on Northwest Boulevard near Paul Bunyan and Garden Avenue, one block from the Pride in the Park event.
Law enforcement stopped a U-Haul before it entered downtown Coeur dโAlene. Officers detained a large group of people from the back of the U-Haul and searched the vehicle while wearing protective gear.
According to then-Coeur dโAlene Police Chief Lee White, more than 30 people connected to Patriot Front were arrested.
Not one of them was a local to Idaho.
Police said the group had Patriot Front arm patches and hats, along with riot gear that included shields, spears, smoke grenades, and protective gear. Police said no fi****ms were found at that time.
Chief White said the group had loaded into the U-Haul at a local hotel before a concerned citizen called 911 after seeing them. The caller reportedly described it as looking like โa little army.โ
