💙 Why the Peyton Williams Center Matters 💙
If the City votes to allow Cochran Helps to use the Peyton Williams Center, it will open the door for long-term solutions, not just emergency assistance.
Having a dedicated space would allow us to offer programs like:
• Budgeting and financial literacy classes
• Life-skills workshops
• Resource navigation and referrals
• Supportive classes clients can attend in person
Our goal is not to create dependence on the kindness of the community. Our goal is to help people become stable, self-sufficient, and confident, so they don’t need emergency help in the future.
When people are given tools, education, and support, they can build a stronger future for themselves and their families—and that strengthens the entire Cochran community.
Thank you to everyone who believes in empowering people, not just getting them through today.
