I made a post about my mother being physically abused by my father
and men said,
“there are two sides to every story.”

Let me be very clear.

There is no second side
that justifies hitting someone.
There is no context
that makes abuse acceptable.
There is no excuse
that turns violence into misunderstanding.

Abuse is a choice.

People don’t accidentally become abusers.
They decide control matters more than compassion.
Power more than love.

Defending abusers doesn’t make you logical.
It makes you dangerous.

Because the moment you start asking
what she did
you’re already protecting violence.

There is never
a good reason
to be an abuser.
Not one.
