Hey guys! It’s Rozina,
If you attended this year, drop a comment below! I’ll send your photos out as soon as they’re available—before they’re posted publicly.
Also, be sure to follow Rally Point Appalachia on Facebook to stay connected with everything we’re doing!
I wanted to take a moment to share a little more about my teams involvement Saturday night and express my sincere appreciation for your support.
In addition to Rally Point—a nonprofit program under Dickenson Community Partners for Prevention—I also serve as the SMVF (Service Members, Veterans, and their Families) Coordinator for Dickenson County Behavioral Health Services. Alongside that role, I’m a mental health and substance abuse case manager and provide outpatient substance abuse therapy.
The SMVF program is a state-mandated initiative across Community Services Boards in Virginia, focused on identifying and ensuring services are available to veterans, active-duty service members, and their families in the communities where they live.
Rally Point helps carry that mission even further by offering peer support, resources, and free events for the SMVF population. Our goal is simple: making sure finances are never a barrier to support, connection, or care.
By following our page, you’ll get a closer look at the work we’re doing—and what your support helps make possible. One of our biggest goals is to fund a multi-day Veterans Retreat, completely free of charge, for veterans across Southwest Virginia and surrounding areas.
On behalf of Rally Point Executive Director Christopher Cronkhite (Retired 20-year Marine Veteran), Assistant Director Tristan Hayes (Army Combat Veteran) and myself—(Operations & Development Coordinator, QMHP, DCBHS SMVF Coordinator, & a proud Army Mom)—thank you for showing up, supporting us, and believing in this mission.
Reach out to us by Facebook or at information listed on the cards below if you know of someone who could use the support and/or resources we have to offer!
