Every vote matters and every voice deserves to be heard and protected. This month’s Delta Decides: 13 on the 13th Initiative focuses on “We Protect”, a call to action for young adults to help safeguard the integrity of our elections.

Civic engagement goes beyond voting. It means staying informed, sharing trusted voter resources, helping recruit poll workers, and standing against misinformation.

Share voter protection tools.
Encourage poll worker participation.
Promote accurate election information.
Know your voting rights.

What a Red Hot Success!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, sponsored, volunteered, and supported our 2026 Red Hot TuTu Run/Walk! Because of your generosity and enthusiasm, we raised $7,000 for the American Heart Association in support of its lifesaving mission.

Today, we were honored to present this wonderful donation to American Heart Association - Mississippi. It was a true testament to the power of community, service, and giving back.

Thank you to everyone for helping make this impact possible. Your support made every step count, and we can’t wait to do it again!

An incredible End-of-Year celebration with our Education Development students!

​To build confidence and career readiness, students participated in interview prep, professional dressing, and mock interviews. To jumpstart their next steps, seniors received college supply trunks and personalized tumblers. Both juniors and seniors also received professional headshots for future career opportunities.

From exploring the Grammy Museum to sharing a meal at Country Platter Too, every single moment reflected the excellence of our sorority.

We took special moments to reflect on Mississippi Delta history. It was a powerful reminder that our voices and our legacy continue to matter. CMAC is proud to keep walking boldly in service, leadership, and sisterhood.

The “Take Flight” May Week Observance hosted by the Clinton (MS) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated celebrated academic excellence as the chapter honored the Top Ten African-American scholars from Clinton, Raymond, and Terry High Schools at McKenzie Arena. Guests were inspired by keynote speaker Dr. Mitchell Shears and his encouraging message to students.

The chapter also highlighted Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated’s Delta Decides Initiative by registering 50% of the Top Ten Scholars to vote during the event.

The Clinton (MS) Alumnae Chapter-Arts & Letters Committee hosted the CMAC Book Club, featuring author Felecia Brookins, who led an engaging discussion on her latest book, Reprobate Ways: The Unveiling of Ann. We enjoyed a special appearances from characters inspired by the book, including Eva and Nadeen, which brought the story to life and made the evening even more interactive and memorable. The event was filled with meaningful dialogue, laughter, fellowship, and a shared appreciation for literature and storytelling. The Arts & Letters Committee was honored to provide an experience that celebrated creativity, encouraged community engagement, and highlighted the importance of supporting talented authors and the arts within our community.
