The Utah Warriors is a nonprofit organization that unites veterans and active-duty service members through the grit and glory of ice hockey, building camaraderie, honoring shared service, and creating strength, healing, and purpose on and off the ice.

They will be hosting their first annual Never Forget Ice Hockey Classic 9/10-9/13. This year it will only be a 4 team tournament. The Utah Warriors will be playing Guns (local current and former law enforcement), Hoses (local current and former firefighters), and The Hill AFB Falcons.
There will also be an exhibition Sled Hockey game on Sunday. If you’re in the Park City, UT area stop by and say hello and enjoy some hockey.

The Utah Warriors Ice Hockey team is running our first of hopefully many tournaments. This tournament will feature the Utah Warriors, Hill Air Force Falcons, Guns (Utah Police), and Hoses (Utah Fire Fighters). Come out and support the teams or donate to help bring together first responders, active military, and veterans. This tournament will be unique in that it will have all different levels on the ice. Oh and how could we forget the will be a Sled Hockey game on Sunday as well.

It’s that time again. The 5th Annual Service Pets for Vets Ride is coming up Saturday, September 19th 2026. The ride will start at the Wing Nutz 1054 South 750 East in Orem and will end at The Fraternal Order of Eagles 220 North 600 West in Pleasant Grove. There will be food and a raffle after the ride. See the flyer for all the details. If you would like to help sponsor or donate raffle items please let me know. As we reach the end of the regular season for the Utah Mammoth, IGY622 is pleased to honor the final guest of this year’s season. A little divergence for this one - The President of IGY622 (Brian Helbach) is honoring his dad, Warren Helbach, and accompanying him to the final game of our ticket giveaway for this season. Warren is a proud veteran with service from 1972 to 1977. He served as a C-130 Aircraft Mechanic and Crew Chief in Thailand, the Philippines, Japan, Germany, England, and the United States. He also traveled to many other countries during his service in the United States Air Force. After active duty, Warren continued to serve in many positions for the federal government, including a deployment to Afghanistan, and an assignment in Saudi Arabia. In his retirement, he says …” I just golf and cook spaghetti!”
Thank you, Warren, for being a great dad, grandfather, and great grandfather! And thank you for your service!
