An unforgettable day with the Cleveland Browns!

We were incredibly honored to have the opportunity to attend a Preseason VIP Training Camp and, even more special, to meet Dee Haslam in person.

The Haslam family and the Cleveland Browns have been such meaningful supporters of Canopy, standing alongside us in so many ways. From generous microgrants and support of our capital campaign to helping make our annual Christmas party special for the families we serve.
Getting the chance to meet Dee and thank her personally for her incredible generosity and commitment to Canopy was truly an honor. Her support helps us continue creating meaningful opportunities and providing critical resources for children and families in our community.
We are so grateful for partners who don't just give, but believe in the mission and the families we serve.

When generosity meets purpose, incredible things happen.

We are incredibly grateful to Cleveland Browns player Ronnie Hickman Jr. and his family for choosing to spend their time giving back to the children and families we serve.

Ronnie already leads an incredible foundation, Fourteen21Cares, dedicated to supporting K–12 youth through partnerships with local education and community organizations. This year, we were honored to be the organization he chose to volunteer with, and he didn’t just show up; he brought his family all the way from New Jersey to be part of it.

Together, Ronnie and his family assembled 50 fully stocked backpacks that will be given to children in the families we serve, helping them start the school year with supplies, confidence, and a little extra encouragement.

But Ronnie’s generosity didn’t stop there. He also donated journals for our kids, providing them with a safe, private outlet to process their experiences, work through trauma, and organize the complex thoughts and emotions they carry.

These gifts may look like backpacks and journals, but to the children receiving them, they represent something much bigger: someone sees them, believes in them, and cares about their future.

A HUGE thank you to Ronnie and his family, for choosing to invest your time, energy, and heart into our kids. We are so grateful for your partnership and for the difference you are making in our community.
