Today!!

Please join the Hardy County Family Support Center and Moorefield Shop ‘N Save today, Saturday 03/28/26 for our Community Easter Egg Hunt at Brighton Park from 12:00pm-2:00pm. The egg hunt will be divided into three age ranges. 5 years old & under, 6-8 years old and 8 & up. These hunts will all take place at the same time and cones will be used to distinguish where each age group will begin their hunts. Snacks, drinks, Easter bags for collecting eggs and photos with the Easter Bunny will all be provided. We hope to see you there!

We are pleased to announce that the Ruritans have graciously allowed our food pantry to expand into an adjacent room at the old schoolhouse. Our team has cleaned the space and is now preparing to undertake the necessary repairs. The estimated cost of materials, including flooring, drywall, paint, and shelving is $1500. Once we procure the required items, we will be seeking your assistance to help us complete the project, particularly with drywall mud and sanding. Below are the “before” photos and “now” video.
