Under beautiful blue skies and gentle Lake Erie breezes, Christ Child Society volunteers celebrated World Refugee Day with children (and their families) from various countries who attend
Natividad Pagán International Newcomers Academy.

As part of this community outreach event, volunteers hosted a welcoming buffet featuring a wide variety of colorful and delicious ethnic dishes, allowing families to select and enjoy their favorite foods. Children participated in a range of fun activities and received take-home gifts, including sidewalk chalk, giant bubble kits, jump ropes, water bottles, books, and soccer balls—all generously provided by the Christ Child Society of Cleveland.
This wonderful celebration brought together children and their families from diverse backgrounds for a day of friendship, fun, and community.

What a wonderful day at the Annual Business Meeting and Spring Luncheon at the Tiffany Glass Space!

We enjoyed celebrating our accomplishments, connecting with friends, and looking ahead to the future of our organization. A highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of the 2026 Mary Virginia Merrick Award to Julie Jerdonek. Julie’s unwavering devotion to improving the lives of countless children and families throughout Greater Cleveland truly exemplifies the values upon which this award was founded.

Wednesday the gavel was passed and we welcomed our 2026–2028 Christ Child Society of Cleveland officers. We extend our sincere thanks to both our outgoing and incoming leaders for their dedication and service.

A huge THANK YOU to our 440+ attendees for your overwhelming support, generosity, and dedication to our mission. Because of you, we can continue to grow our projects and provide hope to the children and families we serve.

Your kindness and commitment are helping us make a real difference in challenging childhood poverty in Cleveland. We are deeply grateful for each and every one of you who joined us and supported this important cause.
