The 2026 National Christ Child Society’s convention was held in Columbus, Ohio September 10-12. What an incredible convention and the largest to date. It was a great opportunity to connect with fellow members and hear from an outstanding lineup of speakers. We are stronger together! Marybeth Baucco, Monica Bruck, Paula Conrad, Rose Dziak, Cathy Harbinak, Janie Nickodem and Susan Smith attended and represented our Cleveland Chapter.

On Friday, Christ Child Society of Cleveland brought cases of gently used books to Beaumont High School for their Day of Service. Eleven students prepared an amazing 450 books that will be shared with children throughout Greater Cleveland through our Book Program!

Beaumont’s Director of Mission, shared that the day was a wonderful reminder of how “small, meaningful gifts and actions, like a new book,” can recognize the dignity of each person and make a lasting impact.

Thank you, Beaumont High School, for helping us spread the joy of reading and serve children in our community!

This past week, Christ Child members engaged in the Back-to-School event at the International Newcomer’s School, where attendance peaked at 500 children and their families as they gathered supplies in the school cafeteria. It was truly inspiring to see the children’s excitement, smiles, and gratitude as each of them were handed a Hygiene Kit and an age-appropriate My Stuff Bag. This experience highlights the incredible impact Christ Child’s programs make in the lives of the children we serve.
