🌍 On United Nations Day, we celebrate global unity, peace, and cooperation. Churches have long supported the United Nations as it has sought to “save succeeding generations from the scourge of war… to promote social progress and better standards of life” for all God’s people. First represented at the UN through the UCC Office for Church in Society and the Board for World Ministries, our churches are present today through the work of Love of Neighbor and Global Ministries as accredited members of the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) community at the United Nations. Pray with Germany | October 25, 2026

This week, we pray with our partners in Germany for the courage to love our neighbors, engage in difficult conversations, and stand for a diverse, inclusive, and just society.

Inspired by Matthew 22:34–46, may we put Christ’s commandment to love our neighbors into action through our words, our choices, and our care for one another.
