Leadership in most situations is a somewhat isolated journey despite the many people around the person in the leadership position. Leadership as the President, CEO, Executive Director or any title you place on a person in the top leadership position in a nonprofit is extremely isolated in more ways than the general public might believe.

There is the stigma of running an organization that is vital to the quality of life among a specific group or class of our communities that few really want to work with. There is also the stigma of managing a business that few in society view as a true business that generates revenue. As such, RESPECT is a fractured element of the position and the job.

However, the people that assume this role are genuine heroes because they are in their position to serve people first, without the traditional corporate rewards or expectations of special recognition or rewards. People in this position are the true SERVANT LEADERS of every community, hoping to make a difference in someone’s life each and everyday.

I have worked in leadership roles in this industry for more than twenty (20) years and can’t stop trying to improve the quality of life for those that seek assistance at a very grounded and foundational level. Through C³ NONPROFIT LEADERSHIP COACH we are going to make a difference where it means a great deal to the present quality of life for many and truly makes a meaningful contribution in shaping the future.
