The BorderLight Theatre Festival has announced its 2026 lineup, featuring more than 120 performances across Cleveland’s Playhouse Square District. The four-day festival will present 43 shows spanning theater, dance, and multimedia work. Artists from 12 states and three countries will participate.

BorderLight Presents: “Peter Is Back” by Amir Yatziv.
This live show features an AI monkey inspired by Kafka. In a real-time dialogue, Peter reflects on becoming human. Each performance changes live, blurring the line between script and improvisation, control and unpredictability. In addition to live performance, there will also be a workshop and an online course!

BorderLight has two new board members! Please welcome Hannah Fritzman Belsito and Jason R. Bristol.

Hannah is a passionate community leader with over a decade of experience. She has served on a number of local boards, but most notably, she co-founded the young professional organization Engage! Cleveland.

Jason is a nationally recognized lawyer with two decades of experience in employment litigation, advocating for people in the workforce. He has also served on local boards that have a special focus advancing justice, arts, and culture.

We look forward to collaborating with Hannah and Jason this year!
