Seven Hills Hall of Fame would like to congratulate Seth Kopchu
Who is our new Arts and Humanities Inductee into The Seven Hills Hall of Fame located at the Seven Hills Recreation Center! Seth will be receiving his Plaque at a later date but will be formally welcomed into the Hall of Fame on Sunday July 21st at the Main Tent from 3-330. Mike Kostyack will be speaking first and will welcome Seth into the Hall of Fame!
Seth Kopchu’s creative résumé doesn’t make sense (nor does his regular résumé, but that’s another story for another unemployed time): he wrote and directed dialogue for a best-selling virtual reality video game called “Drunkn Bar Fight”, and then he turned around and did the same thing again, but this time for some Christmas and Halloween decorations. Like “Jabberin’ Jack”, a talking pumpkin he voiced which sold out on the Home Shopping Network two years in a row and found itself on store shelves nationwide. Now, toys are in the mix, as Seth once more wrote, voiced, and directed himself for a talking RC police car. This Seven Hills native, born and raised, worked on these earlier projects, and then some, when he still lived in the city (don’t ask where he was living, it’s no big deal, parents can eventually become roommates too okay who cares), and that’s what Seth wants his hometown to know the most. That these creative endeavors, made with his friends and family, were not brought to life in New York or California, but in Seven Hills, Ohio. He also wants everyone in Seven Hills to know he’s never seen the 2001 film “Save the Last Dance” but that it’s nothing to worry about, since he pretty much came up with that film’s premise in 1998 when he was in the fourth grade and just never told anybody.
