For the past ten years our membership has ranged from 60 to 85 members. Our members range in age from their mid 20's to over 80, and we are extremely diverse. There are pipe fitters, salesmen, accountants, engineers, plumbers, city employees, teachers, carpenters, managers, and most any other profession you might name. This diversity provides a wealth of knowledge which is invaluable in planning a

nd carrying out our projects. Of equal importance, many of us have developed lifelong friendships. During our 37 year history we have been among the most active Lions Club in Ohio. We have received numerous awards and honors from both the Community and various Lions organizations. In every area of service to our Community, nation, and the world, this Lions Club fulfills the motto of the International Association of Lions' Clubs: WE SERVE! Although we support the District, State and International projects, most of our work and our funds are directed to our local community.

Broadview Heights Lions Club was honored to present a $10,000 donation to the South Hills Lend-a-Hand Food Pantry during our annual Christmas dinner. This contribution supports their vital work providing food and essential assistance to families across our community.
Our club remains committed to giving back—through financial support, hands-on volunteer service, and ongoing partnership with organizations that make a meaningful local impact. We’re grateful for the opportunity to help strengthen this important resource for our neighbors.

We’re wrapping up our Positive Pumpkin Service Project!

Over 30 volunteer hours went into spreading smiles across our community — from purchasing and decorating 240 pumpkins to delivering them to local schools and a nursing home.

Each pumpkin was hand-lettered with a positive message and finished with a bow or ribbon — a small act of kindness with a big impact! 💛

🎁 Pumpkins were donated to:
📘 Assumption Academy
🏫 Broadview Heights Middle School
📗 Milkovich Middle School
🏡 Danbury Nursing Home

Good morning from the South Hills Lend A Hand Building on the City of Broadview Heights Campus. We are preparing to distribute food and needed items to 57 families from Seven Hills, Independence and Broadview Heights. Thanks to all our donors, especially Meijer’s of Seven Hills, that make this happen month after month. Without them we could not help these families as we do. Thanks to the LAH and Broadview Heights Lions volunteers that work tirelessly behind the scenes to get everything ready to distribute. It takes us all to make it happen!! Have a great day.
