The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation's Northeast Ohio Chapter is many things to many people. We are a trusted educator, a fervent supporter of cutting edge research, and a passionate advocate. Every day we help people get the health tools, support, and information that they need. More than 1.6 million Americans are diagnosed with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. These chronic inflammatory digestive diseases cause severe pain, prolonged hospitalization, and are potentially life-threatening. Here in Northeastern Ohio, approximately 20,000 people are diagnosed. But a much larger community surrounding these patients is also involved – caregivers, parents, spouses, siblings, and caring friends. Our 3-pronged approach to serving the community includes education, support, and funding cutting-edge research to find a cure for Crohn’s and colitis. Volunteers Needed
We are always looking for volunteers to help with light administrative tasks, on-site assistance during special events, and serve on ad hoc event committees.
