being a safe adult starts with being someone a child can trust. 💙

listen without judgment. respect their boundaries. take their concerns seriously. teach body safety. and remind them they can always come to you.
you don't have to have all the answers. sometimes, simply being present, listening, and showing that you care can make a meaningful difference.

❄️Winter Crisis Assistance is Now Open!❄️
If you or someone you know is struggling to keep the heat on this season, help is available.

The Winter Crisis Assistance Program through HEAP is now open and runs through March 31. This one-time, federally funded benefit can provide up to $750 to stop a disconnection, restore service, or help start new service for income-eligible residents.

This year, all applications in Cuyahoga County are processed through Step Forward's Energy Assistance Services.

🌐Learn how to apply, what you need, and how Cleveland Public Power can help:

Additional Support from Cleveland Public Power:
For customers who don't qualify for HEAP, CPP offers the Winter Reconnect Option (Nov 1 - April 15). A one-time $175 payment can restore or maintain service, along with a payment arrangement for any remaining balance.

Let's make sure everyone stays safe and warm this winter. 🧡
