According to Patrick Morley, CEO and Chairman of Man in the Mirror, "There are 98,000,000 men in America 18 years of age and older. Regrettably, 90,000,000 of these men-11 out of 12-are not involved in any kind of ongoing discipleship." World economies are shaking. Political systems are in chaos. Families are struggling. Statistics are discouraging,

but the truth is, God has given us an open door to bring transformation to our families and to our world by discipling men who make disciples. George Barna said, "For me, the breakthrough came when I realized that the key to spiritual health in America (if not the world), and a general about-face in our culture, did not hinge on our facilitating some kind of grand, nationwide revolution that would hit with fury and force all at once. Instead, it was bound up in a return to the way Jesus did things - that is, changing one life at a time." (Futurecast: What Today's Trends Mean for Tomorrows World, George Barna). LifeBuilders men will discover how to follow Christ fully, connect with believers strategically and to be the man of God they were created to be. Discipleship brings growth and transformation that allows men to serve Christ and fulfill their destiny. Discipled men will be better husbands, better fathers, better leaders and more dynamic witnesses. LifeBuilders Essentials was written for the Church of God by Patrick Morley, Leonard Albert and Don Warrington. "Closer to God-(in 15 minutes or less)"with Dr. William "Bill" Simmons is dedicated to positive Christian growth. The guiding theme is that God is present in all of life! So, episodes will include topics like: Closer to God Gardening, Closer to God Handcrafts, Closer to God Cooking, Closer to God Nature, Closer to God Hiking. Some episodes will be purely devotional and some will be focused on biblical studies. Regardless of the topic, the goal of the channel is single-minded: to promote Christian discipleship growth by way of lived experience and the Word of God.
"Bill" Simmons is a true Biblical scholar who earned his Ph.D. in New Testament Studies and Languages from the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. He is also a man of God who loves hunting, fishing, gardening, composting, and woodworking. He lives a real life as a married man of God who sees the work of God in the every day activities of life. Congratulations to the C.O.G. Men’s LifeBuilders of Ontario, Canada on their anointed Fall Regional Men’s Conference! Under the leadership of Administrative Bishop Ron Binda and Regional Men’s Director, Bishop Delroy Fraser, these men of God combined worship, fellowship, and discipleship and the result was an extremely positive and joyful Men’s Conference! The Mission of Church of God Men’s LifeBuilders is “bring men together in order to develop them into true disciples who are empowered by the Spirit to be spiritually influential men, husbands, fathers, witnesses to the work, and armor bearers for their pastors.”
